The SnowBikers
skills sessions are directed by Graham O’Hanlon. Graham
is an experienced MTB leader, having worked within the UK and
also in the French Alps. He is a senior tutor for the Scottish
Mountain Bike Leaders Association, and one of only 6 mentor-tutors
for the same scheme. Graham is also a tutor for the GoMTB skills
award scheme and is a level 2 British Cycling Coach.
At SnowBikers,
we specialise in working with riders who have hit some kind of
barrier to their riding, either metaphorically or literally! We
have experience in helping riders build confidence at the start
of their off-road riding career, or rebuild it following an accident
or injury. We also work with many clients who have plateaued in
their riding ability and need help to breakthrough to the next
level.
We strongly
believe the best coaching results come from allowing our riders
to control the pace and content of sessions wherever possible.
In this way riders can work on the particular skills that they
wish to develop and challenge themselves to a level they are comfortable
with. This bespoke approach to MTB coaching lends itself best
to small groups and we are happy to provide one-to-one coaching
or a session for up to 4 riders if preferred.
In some circumstances
we can coach larger groups; please contact us for further information.
Our coaching can be on site at Coed Cae near Dolgellau or we can
meet you at Coed y Brenin visitor centre for a day or a half day
coaching on the trails.
Each day runs
from 10am until around 4pm.
